Spring 2026 - Academic Year 2025/2026

Motivated students who completed their secondary education in 2024 or 2025, and are ready to embrace challenge, pursue personal growth, and seize academic opportunities, are encouraged to apply.

APPLICATIONS OPEN

Applications will be accepted from Tuesday, December 9, to Sunday, December 14, 2025. During this period, only Kuwaiti nationals are eligible to submit applications through the AASU online admissions portal.

After that, applications for non-Kuwaiti students will be accepted from Tuesday, December 16, to Thursday, December 18, 2025 using the same portal.

First: Categories of Applicants 

Category One: Kuwaiti Students 

Priority is given to Kuwaiti students who meet the admission requirements for the second semester.

Category Two: Non-Kuwaiti Students 

Students in this category must have completed all stages of secondary education while enrolled in the unified system in Kuwait. Admission to the university will open after the announcement of the admission results for all eligible Kuwaiti students, provided that seats for the second semester remain available. The categories include the following:

  1. Citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
  2. Children and spouses of academic and teaching staff, language teachers, and university staff.
  3. High-achieving high school graduate students, honour students provided that the percentage of students who graduated from the unified educational system is not less than 95%.

 

Timeline for Submitting Admission Applications for the Second Semester 2025/2026 

The admissions portal of Abdullah Al-Salem University will be open for Kuwaiti students from 9/12/2025 to 14/12/2025, through the following website: https://admissions.aasu.edu.kw, this is to submit admission applications for Kuwaiti students who fulfil the criteria outlined in the admission guide, considering the following:

  • Students must activate the authenticator in “Kuwait Mobile ID” application to access their account in the system.
  • Private school students must upload the required documents by Thursday, 11/12/2025, at 1:00 PM. Failure to submit the required documents will result in disqualification of the application.
  • Students who completed their high school abroad, must present the original certificate and the private education equivalency document in person to the Admissions and Registration Deanship by Thursday, 11/12/2025 at 1:00 PM.
  • The application submission period will end on Sunday, 14/12/2025 at 1:00 PM.

 

For non-Kuwaiti applicants who fulfil the criteria outlined in the admission guide, the application period will begin from 16/12/2025, to 18/12/2025, at 1:00 PM. Students are required to present the original high school certificate in person to the Admissions and Registration Deanship, at Al-Khaldiya Building 14KH, Gate (1) on their assigned day according to the following schedule (from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM):

  • Students of GCC countries, graduates of the Unified Education System in Kuwait.
  • Honor students who have achieved a percentage of 97% or higher, who graduated from the Unified Education System.
Wednesday 17/12/2025
  • Children and spouses of all faculty, academic staff members, and employees at the University.
  • Honor students who have achieved a percentage of 95% or higher, who graduated from the Unified Education System.
Thursday 18/12/2025 All categories listed above.

* High school students expected to graduate and planning to apply for university must visit the Admissions and Registration Deanship within two business days following the announcement of results, presenting their original certificate.

* Applicants are reminded that any withdrawal from the university or cancellation of admission must be done in person by the student, not the guardian.

Admission will be prioritized based on a comparative score percentage, calculated differently for each stream as follows:

College of Computer and Systems Engineering - College of Engineering & Energy:

65% High School Percentage + 15% National Exam English Test Score + 20% National Exam Math Test Score

College of Business & Entrepreneurship:

70% High School Percentage + 15% National Exam English Test Score + 15% National Exam Math Test Score
