During the period from 13 July 2026 to 15 July 2026

General conditions for submitting admission applications to Abdullah Al-Salem University

  • Applicants must activate the authentication feature in the «Kuwait Mobile ID» app so they can log in to their account in the system.
  • Applicants must upload the documents required from them in the electronic admissions system no later than Sunday, 12/7/2026 at 1:00 PM; thereafter, applications not meeting the document requirements will be excluded.
  • Applicants graduating from English secondary schools or their equivalent who are expected to graduate in August 2026 must submit their original certificates and the university's education equivalency within two working days from the date their results are announced, in order to set their preferences.
  • Applicants holding a general secondary school certificate from outside the State of Kuwait must submit the original certificate and the education equivalency to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at the Khaldiya campus no later than Tuesday, 7/7/2026 at 1:00 PM.
  • Applicants with special needs who obtained a percentage ranging from 75% to 79.99% for the science track and from 80% to 84.99% for the literature track, who wish to apply to the university and are not graduates of special institutes, must submit a valid disability certificate and medical reports showing that the disability is the influencing cause of their weak academic achievement. As for graduates of special institutes, submitting only the original secondary school certificate is sufficient. In all cases, the required documents must be submitted to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration no later than Tuesday, 7/7/2026 at 1:00 PM.

Students wishing to apply to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences who meet the general conditions must observe the following:

  • No applications to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences will be accepted after the college's application period ends, after 7 July 2026.
  • Students who meet the eligibility conditions to apply to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences must take the interview exam (MMI) in person at the university, scheduled to be held during the period from Friday, 10/7/2026 to Sunday, 12/7/2026. Eligible students will be notified of the exam date via the email registered in the electronic admissions system.
  • After completing the interview exam (MMI), students must enter their major preferences in the admissions system.

Achieving a comparative score percentage of 90% calculated as follows:

  • 75% High School Percentage
  • 15% English Test Score (National Exam or TOEFL or IELTS)
  • 10% National Exam Math Test Score
  • Admission is available only for the fall academic semester.
  • Admission is restricted to Kuwaiti nationals only.
  • Applicants must successfully complete the College Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) after meeting all the above requirements.
  • Priority for admission is given to applicants with the highest competitive score, calculated as follows:
    • 80% from the comparative score as calculated above.
    • 20% from the College Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) score.

 

  • Applicants can apply for admission after meeting the minimum eligibility requirements for the desired college and major. Admission is based on the comparative score, the number of available seats in each major, and the applicant’s order of major preferences.
  • Results from the IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or TOEFL PBT examinations may be accepted as an alternative to the English Language Academic Aptitude Test, provided that the results are submitted within the designated admission application period.
